Confirm HUT status
On intake, verify with PD/FIB that the inmate is marked as HUT. Log this in the appropriate channel.
Assign secure cell
HUT inmates are typically placed in Medium or High Security depending on FIB/DOJ classification.
Restrict visitation
All visitations for HUT inmates must be approved by FIB/DOJ in advance. Do not allow unapproved visitors.
Remove communication devices
Phones, radios, and any communication devices must be confiscated and logged, unless FIB/DOJ specifies otherwise.
Adjust jail time as needed
HUT inmates may have their time adjusted via
/jail hut when running low. Coordinate with a Sergeant+ before making changes.
