# 1.5 Authorized Equipment and Vehicles

> Authorized equipment and vehicles for Corrections Officers, with vehicle assignments by rank and division.

Below is a list of equipment and vehicles that you can use. Be advised that you can only select from the list below unless otherwise specified.

## Equipment

Below is a list of the standardized equipment that you must carry during an active shift:

## Vehicles

Depending on what rank you hold or division you are in, you will get access to different vehicles. You are not allowed to change the cosmetic appearance of the vehicles with the exception of the liveries. All of the custom vehicles are fitted with extras that can be added and removed. You should have all inside lights fitted, and no rooftop extras added.

Below is a list of the vehicles that are authorized to be used:

  <Accordion title="Prison Bus">
    The `Prison Bus` is allowed to be used by any Officer ranked Correctional Cadet or Above. It is not the typical first choice vehicle for transports, and is recommended to only be used when there is a high number of inmates.

  <Accordion title="Prison Transporter">
    The `Prison Transporter` is a 9 seated van that is allowed to be used by any Correctional Cadet or above. It is the preferred vehicle for transports that include 4 or more inmates.

  <Accordion title="Eagle Pathmaker (Explorer)">
    The `Eagle Pathmaker` is the preferred transport and daily use vehicle for Corrections Cadets and above. It has 5 seats, with the capacity for 3 inmates.

  <Accordion title="Chevrox Taiga (Tahoe)">
    The `Chevrox Taiga` is a 5 seated SUV, that is allowed to be used by those ranked Senior Corrections Officer and above, or those who are Personnel members of the Emergency Response Team.

  <Accordion title="2014 Thunder Striker (2014 Charger)">
    The `2014 Thunder Striker` is restricted to those who are ranked Sergeant and above, and are also Supervisors in the Emergency Response Team. This vehicle should only be used for High Risk Transports, and inmates should not be transported in it.

  <Accordion title="Slam 35HD (Dodge Ram)">
    The `Slam 35HD` is a pickup truck with 5 seats that is authorised for use for those who are ranked Lieutenant or above.

  <Accordion title="2018 Thunder Striker (2018 Charger)">
    The `2018 Thunder Striker` is restricted to High Command (Captain+) or members of ERT Command.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="MH6 Little Bird">
    The `MH6 Little Bird` is the department's helicopter. It is restricted to those ranked Lieutenant+ and they must follow the following conditions:

    * Have an active helicopter licence
    * No Law Enforcement Helicopter Available
    * There is an emergency situation that requires a helicopter

      The MH6 Little Bird is to stay within the prison airspace at all times.
